Tariro Ndoro is a Zimbabwean writer, poet and storyteller. She received an MA in Creative Writing from Rhodes University. Her debut poetry collection, Agringada: Like a Gringa, Like a Foreigner (Modjaji Books, 2019) received the inaugural NAMA Award: Outstanding Poetry Book. Her poetry, short fiction, and creative nonfiction have appeared in a wide range of literary magazines and journals including Afreada, The Kalahari Review, Kotaz, New Contrast, Oxford Poetry and Puerto del Sol. She was shortlisted for the 2018 Babishai Niwe Poetry Prize, the DALRO Poetry Prize and the Intwasa Short Story Prize. Tariro has made appearances at Pa Gya! Literary Festival, Page Poetry Alive, Paza Sauti: Poems for the end of the world and Wordfest.
