Our mission is to give poets a voice and to give poetry-lovers poetry. We focus on poets that have a connection to Africa.
Our meetings currently take place every Monday on Zoom.

Cape Town's longest running and most regular poetry event! Founded by Hugh Hodge. Our present team consists of Emily Buchanan, Elisa Galgut, Keith Gottschalk, Julia Louw Smuts, and Stuart Payne.
Each Monday evening a featured poet reads, followed by an open-mic session.

We invite established poets to be our guest poets.
The open-mic session is for anyone, from first-timers to veterans, to perform their own poetry or that of other poets.
