Stephanie has written poetry from her schooldays. Her first poems appeared in the school magazine. She went on to study Fine Art at Michaelis, which ultimately led to a career drawing liquidation accounts for a trust company. A course in Poetry with Finuala Dowling revived her interest in writing. Her poems have appeared in various publications and anthologies and she has read at McGregor Poetry Festivals. Her first collection of poetry "Open Stephanie," has recently been published.
