18 Sept, 19:30: Nicole Thackwray is a writer, teacher, and multidisciplinary artist. She is currently pursuing a postgraduate qualification in visual communication at Open Window while teaching young African creatives. She is a recent recipient of a National Poetry Prize (third place, 2023), and her work has been published in Impostor, New Contrast and Ons Klyntji, among other publications. She lives with her dog and perpetually-overflowing personal library. When she’s not writing, she makes short films, and dreams up art-installations.
