Megan Ross was born in Johannesburg in 1989. Her multidisciplinary approach to the body, oceans, spirituality and language has manifested in several career streams: journalism, art direction, writing and editing, and visual art. She is the author of Milk Fever (uHlanga Press, 2018) and a winner of the Brittle Paper Award for Fiction and the Iceland Writers Retreat Alumni Award. Her bylines include New Frame News, GQ, Catapult, Mail & Guardian, and Brittle Paper. Megan also edits poetry for Isele Magazine and is the lead responder at Lil-Lets Talk. She lives on the Indian Ocean coastline with her partner and son.
