Kris Marais' poetry has been included in several anthologies & journals. In 2017 with Tauriq Jenkins and Maura Talbot, he presented the performance piece 'State Property: The Conscripts Of Apartheid, Untold Stories Of A Socially Constructed Silence', at the NAF in Grahamstown / Makhanda and at the McGregor Poetry Festival. He has attended all the McGregor Poetry Festivals and read at several including, 2017's 'Bravehearts -The Beats' and 2018's 'Water Dance: Quick Quick Slow' (with Tauriq Jenkins). 'RIVER', protesting the 'in -filling' of the vestigial piece of the Liesbeeck by Amazon Inc is a current project with Tauriq Jenkins 2021. He lives in Observatory, Cape Town.
