Kerry Hammerton is a poet and writer known for her poignant and evocative poetry that explores themes of identity, memory, and the human experience. She has published poetry and prose in various international and local literary journals and anthologies. Kerry’s fourth poetry collection afterwards (Karavan Press 2023) has been described as striking and exquisite. She recently edited an anthology of flash fiction and memoir called In Other Stories (Karavan Press 2024). Kerry is a freelance lecturer and supervisor in the Rhodes School of Literature and Languages on their Masters in Creative Writing programme.
