10 April 19.30: Of Nsenga and Venda descent, Kambani Ramano is a would-be poet and artist who is mildly obsessed with the sublime beauty of creation—at least, in the Romantic sense. His work ranges from celebrations of the natural world to meditations on the variegated textures of loss and love. At heart, though, he is just a romantic soul – in the soppy, sentimental sense – who was smitten by poetry as a teen and has not had the nerve to end the affair in the decades since. Join us on Zoom!
