22 May, 19:30: Fiona Zerbst has had five volumes of poetry published to date: In Praise of Hotel Rooms (2020), Oleander (2009), Time and Again (2002), the small zone (1995) and Parting Shots (1991). Her poems have been published in anthologies in South Africa and the United States and in an Amnesty International workbook. She collaborated with Professor Hendrik Hofmeyr on the libretto for his opera Saartjie, which premiered in 2022 under the direction of Geoffrey Hyland. She is currently working on a new opera with composer Juliet Wootton.
