20 May, 19.30: Erica Livingston is a poet based in Gordon’s Bay, Cape Town. Her work has appeared online on LitNet, and in print by Stanzas Poetry Magazine, New Contrast Literary Journal, and New Coin Poetry. The Poetry Institute of Africa included one of her poems in their anthology, Murmuring Memoirs, and she was previously shortlisted for a South African Writers College Short Story Award. She was recently shortlisted for the New Contrast Poetry Prize. The poet primarily explores themes around womanhood and domestic life, without shying away from controversial topics. The Rosebank Writers Group have selected her flash fiction contribution to be included in an anthology, to be published by Karavan Press later this year. Join on Zoom!
