Cheryl Traub-Adler is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice includes painting, printmaking, photography, installation art, performance, and poetry. The process-based nature of her work links poetry to non-linear language — a type of abstract reckoning of a visual impulse. As a recent guest poet at the McGregor Poetry Festival, she combined printmaking with an interactive performance of movement, poems and sound. She says: "Poetry falls out of you, like a slipper from a moving car." "Creativity is a way of defining what it means to be truly alive right now."
