19.30, 19 June 2023: Chantal Stewart is a medical doctor, author and poet. She has an MA Creative Writing from UCT and facilitates writing workshops in Cape Town and Kleinmond.
Her debut novel, The Veil of Maya, was published in 2022 and won the HSS Best Fiction Novel award in 2023. Her poems have been published by AVBOB and Stanzas and she is working on her first poetry collection.
