Athol Williams

Athol Williams is an exiled state-capture whistleblower. He has published six books of poetry, published over 100 poems in journals and won the Sol Plaatje EU Poetry Prize twice (2015, 2016). The City of Cape Town awarded Athol the Mayor's Medal for Extraordinary Bravery in 2022, and in 2019 the Western Cape Government awarded him a Cultural Affairs Award for Contribution to the Literary Arts.
